  Edgar is the best! We hired him to build a deck and it came out absolutely pristine. His attention to detail is second to none and his communication skills are excellent. Part way through the process we came to a point where we had to make some decisions and Edgar was excellent at explaining the options and being patient with us while we decided. Not only would we hire him again, but plans are already being made for him to build us another deck. If someone is considering having a deck built we would absolutely encourage them to call Edgar.   I can’t say enough about EMP Construction (Edgar) and the beautiful deck and stairs he built me and have received compliments on how it finishes off my home.  Edgar is very detail oriented, a great communicator and top notch builder.  If he says he’s going to be there at a certain day or time, he’s there and I really appreciated that.   I had such a positive experience working with Edgar on converting my garage into an accessory dwelling unit. This was the first time I had ever taken on a renovation project like this, and he made the entire process feel manageable and much less overwhelming. He was professional, patient, and incredibly helpful when it came to guiding me through decisions along the way. The project included adding a bathroom, kitchen, and living space, and Edgar kept everything moving forward smoothly and on schedule. He always kept the work area clean and was able to coordinate subcontractors quickly, and each one did excellent work and clearly took pride in their trade. I truly appreciated Edgar’s organization, communication, and attention to detail throughout the project.   Edgar was fantastic!. I needed a large deck built in the middle of winter and he came through amazingly! Not only is he the utmost professional, but his attention to detail right down to the daily cleanup blew us away! I will not hesitate to hire EMP Construction for any project. We love our new deck!   I usually do not write reviews but I am going to in this case. EMP Construction which is Edgar Montan was tasked to redo my deck. Edgar took an over 30 year old deck and transformed it into a deck that is absolutely beautiful. He also redid the wheelchair ramp that is needed for my wife. Edgar put so much pride into the work. He exceeded every expectation that I had. His work was high quality. He had some unexpected challenges with the project and did not let them frustrate him. He worked through them with a good attitude and total professionalism. Edgar is also a genuinely nice person. Easy to talk to and always courteous. I am thrilled to recommend him to anyone who needs any type of work that Edgar provides.
